Description: This exciting GVI programme provides opportunities for cultural immersion, volunteer projects, trekking and recreational activities in a country which is in desperate need of assistance. Included in the programme is an orientation phase comprising of language classes and a 6 day trek in the Annapurna region. Choose from a variety of volunteer placements such as teaching, working in orphanages and environmental projects. As a GVI volunteer in Nepal you will make a real difference to the lives of some of the poorest communities.

Teaching and Conservation Projects in Nepal

Highlights: Trekking, Volunteer Home stays, Cultural visits, Language lessons, Cultural programmes. A chance to make a difference in an impoverished community whilst living in a stunning place. You will also have the opportunity to trek in the mountains, go on wildlife safaris and enjoy white water rafting. Living with a host family you will immerse yourself in the local culture, language and way of life.

Qualifications: None Required as all training is given on the project.
