Description:
The elementary school Daniel Comboni aims to offer quality education, at affordable prices for the poor rural inhabitants of the village of El Limonal and the surrounding villages. In general, the level of education in Ecuador is extremely low. This results in poorly instructed people which is an obstacle for good management, ecological behaviour and progress. We are currently looking for one or two English teachers (a couple) who are willing to commit for at least one school year, starting in September and finishing the end of June. Teaching would be done mainly in the Comboni elementary school. Also, as result of tourism that is gradually increasing in the area, there is a need of English speaking guides. The teachers could be helpful instructing English to local guides. We are looking for native English speakers who are trained as English teachers, students who finished their language studies (English) and are looking for an internship or a practical training. The teacher(s) will be accommodated in Bosque de Paz ( three meals a day, bed in a dormitory or in a private room for the couple). For information about the area, please email us.
