Description:
Spend June, July and August helping four and five-year-olds from Spanish-speaking villages,with the basic spoken English they'll need for primary school in the fall. Your first weeks are devoted to preparation such as: meeting with village leaders, setting up venues, identifying local counterparts, circulating flyers, and registering the children. Then begin two months of Jump Start classes, usually three days weekly for two hours. Non-class activities with the local children can also be held. Some Spanish is helpful, but not necessary.

The true cultural experience is felt while working with children. They are open and eager to learn. And what a difference you can make!
Qualifications:
Course curriculum provided. Must show ability to be willing to work with young children.
