Description: You will help us to bring relief to the victims (whatever you can do).

Highlights: On January 12th a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck near Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Devastating aftershocks followed. The current number of dead and missing is estimated to be between 100,000 and 300,000. The entire capital of Port-au-Prince appears damaged or destroyed.

The situation is dire and the suffering extreme. While the effects are hard to quantify so soon after the earthquake,there is a clear and desperate need both for emergency and long-term assistance to address the vicious cycle of poverty, health care, environmental degradation and disease, which is guaranteed to intensify in the aftermath of this crisis.

We ask you now,during this time of tremendous suffering, to take action with us. Please,help us to bring relief to the victims and the communities where we serve as we provide additional service and assistance of that unforseen and certainly unbudgeted disaster.
