Description:
We are currently looking for students on U.S. and Canadian college campuses who would like to lead a volunteer or adventure trip to Guatemala during their winter, spring, or summer break. As a Trip Leader, you will assemble a group of students and serve in a leadership role during the trip. Encountour will support you through every stage of the trip recruitment process. We also arrange all of the programming and logistics on the ground in Guatemala so that you and your group can focus on what you came to do--volunteer and have an amazing experience! Encountour's Trip Leader program is an incredible opportunity to see the world and travel for FREE, as you develop leadership skills and enhance your resume! As a Trip Leader, you have the unique opportunity to positively impact both the lives of students on your campus and of deserving people in the developing world.
Highlights:
Who is Encountour? Encountour is a volunteer and adventure travel company that exposes North American college students to the developing world. We challenge the current college break "party" tradition by offering alternative trips that enable student participants to engage with a country's local communities and natural environment. To maximize our support for volunteers before, during, and after their trips, Encountour has offices both in the United States and in Latin America. In the United States, we work in conjunction with student Campus Representatives and Trip Leaders to raise awareness about our unique adventure and volunteer travel opportunities. And in Latin America, we work with carefully screened community driven projects and non-profit organizations to find meaningful volunteer placements.
