Description:
Volunteer Responsibilities Animal Management Center * Carry food, fruit, and bamboo to the giant pandas * Help caretakers clean and disinfect giant pandas' habitats * Observe caretakers feeding, training, and interacting with the pandas Animal Hospital * Prevent and control the spread of animal diseases and assist the veterinarian in animal caretaking * Clean and preserve samples with the veterinarian * Assist the veterinarian in medical monitoring of the giant pandas * Observe and monitor the health of the animals Behavioral and Ecology Center * Familiarize yourself with the Wolong Natural Reserve through hands-on learning * Learn about the different plants and animals in Wolong Natural Reserve * Observe the behavior of artificially bred pandas with on-site teachers Physiological and Biochemical Center * Learn how to determine the estrus hormone of the giant pandas * Study artificial insemination in both classroom and laboratory settings * Collect various samples from the pandas

Qualifications:
* High school graduate * Minimum age 18 * Valid health certificate * Basic English skills * Responsible and mature person who is able to carry out the duties assigned to him/her
