Description:
The giant panda is an endangered species native to central-western and south western China. This volunteering project gives you an opportunity to live in Sichuan province while you work with and observe this amazing animal. There are four different departments in which you can choose to volunteer: the Animal Management Center, the Animal Hospital, the Behavioral and Ecology Center, and the Physiological and Biochemical Center.
Highlights:
* Get to know China in our interesting orientation courses
* Visit the most well-known historical sites in Beijing
* Breakfast with the pandas and interact with them
* Blend in with the locals and live with the Chinese guest families
* Take good use of the volunteer weekend and explore the ancient Chinese towns
* Take a cruise on the no.1 river in China and visit the gorgeous Three Gorges
Qualifications:
- 18 years above
- Valid health certificate
- Basic English skills
- Responsible and mature person who is able to carry out the duties assigned to him/her
