Description: we are looking for a competent electrician to assist with the installation of main electrical systems and solar equipments AND a carpenter to assist with fitting out service buildings and bedrooms using locally farmed timbers, natural and cultural materials.

Highlights:

    Strawberry Fields Eco Lodge is located in Konso, south Ethiopia, an area noted for its unique local culture and indigenous agricultural system. The project combines an eco-lodge, Permaculture demonstration farm, organic restaurant as well as organizing off-site community-based trekking and cultural activities. SFEL promotes food security in Konso through Permaculture design training and consultancy services delivered to local schools and communities, as well as promoting alternative livelihood through community based tourism. Working at SFEL is a challenging and rewarding experience, offering a chance to gain experience of the unique and fascinating local culture, learn about Permaculture and as well as traditional local artesian skills such as dry stone terracing, thatching and mud-work.

Minimum Education: High School

Salary / Pay: Full room and board (meals and accommodation with project staff Monthly a stipend of 1200Birr (~US$100) 2 days off per week
