Work with Bulgaria's Abandoned Children Trust in a Large Orphanage with 250 Children

Description:
CAST has partnered with the Bulgaria's Abandoned Children Trust in order to send volunteers to work with children who are in desperate need of our support. The orphange is home to 250 babies and children of all ages. Many of the children have symptoms of institutionalised autism as well as physical and/ or learning disabilities. We provide training in Intensive Interaction and Behavioural & Emotional Management Training for all volunteers prior to the trip.
Qualifications:
We don't ask volunteers to have any specific qualifications but experience of working with babies or children is required in order to take part in this trip. Volunteers with qualifications within the healthcare field are welcome to apply as specialist volunteers.
Cost in US$: Cost of flight plus around 300 GBP for living costs

The cost includes accomodation, training prior to your trip and transport whilst in Bulgaria.
