Description:
There is a lot to do in the small village Ndebele. A preschool building has already been renovated; an additional room and a fence around the preschool have also been built. As a volunteer you will work together with the people of the village, which is a unique experience to get to know South Africans. Those construction projects are meant to be more ecological in the future. If you are experienced in using alternative materials like eco-building blocks, sandbags etc. this is exactly the right project for you! You have the opportunity to help building a Community and Youth Center, recreational facilities and solar water, heating and electricity systems. Previous knowledge in the field of building and construction is not necessary as there will be an introductory class.
