Volunteer and Learn Spanish in Ecuador with EXIS

Highlights: This program is consist of 20 Spanish lessons per week in groups of 4 students. Lectures take place in the mornings and usually in the afternoons there will be an opportunity to take part in the school's activities or explore Quito on your own. As mentioned earlier a stay with an Ecuadorian host family makes the learning of the language easier and also gives one an insight into a typical family's daily routine. In this way the programme offers a mixture of language and culture that not only guarantees a solid language background, but gives students an understanding and knowledge of Ecuadorian culture, politics and other social conditions.

The school in Ecuador is one of three schools run by the same leaders. The other two schools are in Peru and Bolivia . You can change from one country to another at any time, as long as there are vacancies. For example, a 4-week course could begin with 2 weeks in Ecuador and continue with 2 weeks in Peru.

EXIS ApS's Mission Statement: EXIS is your ticket to put together a different kind of travel experience. EXIS got started in 1982 with restlessness and an urge to ramble before globalization was a household word and the world could be Googled in five seconds. EXIS made sure nearly 30 years ago that Danish au pairs could drink tea on the High Street in London and now offers unique language study and voluntary work on five continents. EXIS philosophy is still the same to make it possible for you to satisfy your curiosity and thirst for adventure. We work with partners all over the world to build the most secure starting gate for unique experiences and you take it from there! Forget all about the world getting smaller. It's bigger than ever and right within your reach. Join the world... it's yours!
