Description:
You will assist in education sector in nursery, primary and secondary schools as well as can choose adult education schemes. Thereon one can participate in hospitals and HIV programs, orphanages and street children programs. We have a sport programs and arts and music / music production programs. Housing at Addis Abeba is at the border of the city center some 2 kilometers from the airport. House is located so that we have walking distance for numerous projects as well as to numerous quality restaurants and shops. The house itself is a large new house with internet access, TV, hot water etc. The cost for a volunteering program is 230 USD per week and for internship 240 USD per week including airport transports, accommodation, breakfast (it is better choice to eat lunches and dinners outside the house as the food is delicious and cheap at the numerous restaurants available), orientation and necessary project guidance. You start your daily work 8 or 9 AM depending on the placement and it lasts from 3 - 8 hours 5 days a week. You can add various day trips. weekend trips and adventure trips lasting up to 11 days for your program (look at our web site).

You can enjoy various adventure trips to the numerous worl heritage sites in the country. Cuisine in Addis Abeba is one of the high lights parts of your trip. Everywhere in town you encounter restaurants serving food from different cultures at very low cost. Also we need to remember the Coffey Houses! Those who love shopping there are lot to buy, traditional dresses and artifacts, world famous leather products. To volunteer in Ethiopia gives the participant enjoyment to help the poor societies and to enjoy their personal life in peaceful and experience rich atmosphere.

Art in Ethiopia volunteering and internship placements are available for any participants over 18 years of age and for younger people with their parents or elder accompanying participant. We have placements for various skills and we also tailor placements.
