Description:
Volunteers and interns stay at our campus in the rainforest, in the Mamoni Valley Preserve and would be able to travel back and forth to our office and accommodations in Panama City. Earth Train is expanding quickly, many opportunities are available to involve yourself in. Possible projects include: teaching English, art, theater, or another special classes at rural schools in the Mamoni Valley, working on creating a model for sustainable agriculture at our campus at Centro MadroƱo, helping us to design and build new facilities at Centro Madrono, doing graphic design work, working in the wood shop, working the art gallery, creating art, and many other opportunities and projects that constantly becoming available so check with us if you have something you think you could contribute!
Highlights:
Volunteers and interns can be given the freedom and opportunity to develop their own projects in their area of interest. Also, working with Earth Train you will be exposed to and work along side change-making individuals and organizations such as John Perkins and Dream Change, Danilo Perez and his foundation, the Museum of Biodiversity, and many, many others.
Qualifications:
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible individuals who support and are excited to help us fulfill our mission. Community involvement and sustainable living are very important to us and we are looking for individuals who reflect these values and who seek personal development through service and stewardship to the environmental and local communities. Volunteers must be able to stay for at least 3 months. An interest in learning Spanish is a must.

Cost Include Description:
The only cost of the program is to cover materials and training in the country. We will cover your room and board while working for us in Panama. You must be able to cover your airfare.
