The general Direction of Museums encourages public access to its collections, organizes artistic and cultural events and promotes, recovers and preserves museums' patrimony. Museums under its direction are: Museo de la Cuidad, Museo Histórico Cornelio de Saavedra, Museo de Esculturas Luís Perlotti, Museo de Arte Popular José Hernández, Museo Casa Carlos Gardel, Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires, Museo de Arte Hispanoamericano Isaac Fernández Blanco, Museo de Artes Plásticas Eduardo Sivori, Museo de Arte Español Enrique Larreta, Museo del Cine Pablo Ducros Hicken. The general Direction of Museums offers to international students, internships in museums so that they improve their knowledge, widen their professional skills and learn to understand customers' needs. The internship opportunities are various and depend on each one's interest.
