Plans for Spanish Classes

1. Accelerated Spanish class
The aim of these classes is to remind you of the Spanish language before starting your Professional Internship. They will be given by a professional Spanish teacher one-to-one in an institute or your place of stay. The duration of this class will be 3 hours a day for one to two weeks and is an additional service, consult us for more information

2. Classes of Spanish with technical language for your profession
This course is t to help you understand the meaning of technical words in your profession that will help you from day to day in your Internship. These classes will last 2 hours, twice a week for however long you need, it is an additional service, consult us for more information.

3. More Options
You can also choose a complete Spanish course which will last one to eight weeks depending on your level. If you don't have an intermediate level in the Spanish language before starting your Professional Internship you will be prepared with the necessary grammar and vocabulary to face your internship. Consult us for more information.

For students who are not fluent in Spanish, we also offer the following program: E.D.V (Interactive Cultural Internship ) is a new program that combines a Spanish language course with an internship of the student's choice. In the morning, a Spanish course focused on day-to-day communication is given in order to assist the student in learning the language. In the afternoon, the student will gain professional experience through the internship while practicing Spanish and learning the vocabulary pertaining to their field. E.D.V has a duration of 6 hours a day, from Monday to Friday.

The aim of the program is to prepare the student linguistically while giving them the opportunity to acquire the correct terminology of their future profession or field in an interesting and fun way.

For example, a student of medicine can take a general Spanish course at the school in the morning and in the afternoon go to a hospital to interact with doctors and learn the specific medical vocabulary. But a student of medicine who likes the theater or performing arts could choose to have an internship in theater instead and in this way can continue learning Spanish and enlarge his/her vocabulary in this area.

It is not necessary to know Spanish or to have experience in the field in which the student wishes to do his/her internship. The most unique part of this program is that it combines language with learning in an innovative way. It gives the students a chance to immerse themselves into a new culture while also participating in an internship that interests them, even if it isn't their area of study.
