Description:
Become part of a group of young people from around the world who under guidance of a leading personality (our Friend) work together on a project with a clear goal. Succeed and dance on stage, finish a house or help others to start a new life become a Dekeyser & Friends Fellow. Being a Fellow is not primarily about benefiting from a specific education, a skill or a study program. Being a Fellow offers you the space for inspiring thoughts and experiences, time to find out what can happen if you believe in yourself, have a fantastic team and work hard and with joy. Fellows do of course learn specific skills. They will be taught and benefit from their hands-on experiences. More importantly, however, every project tries to give Fellows the space to think about their dreams, receive positive feedback and feel inspired to think independently about their life.
Highlights:
Besides the opportunity to join one of our exciting projects, our fellows will also profit from the Dekeyser & Friends Academy: Dekeyser & Friends promotes respect, tolerance, intercultural understanding, trust in oneself and the belief in team play. This is the reason why every project is accompanied by the D&F Academy program. Fellows will together with the Friend, members of the foundation or guests explore fundamental topics such as friendship, courage, leadership, tolerance and respect, optimism or leadership. Every topic will be used to invite a speaker, go on a trip or organize an activity. Find out more about the Academy and see how discussing important topics can be a lot of fun.
Qualifications:
Are you between 18-28 years old? Are you curious? Are you motivated to become a productive part of your project team? Do you think that you will benefit from the experience with respect to your future? Do you think about the impact your dreams and ideas could have for the society you live in? Then you should apply! If you are accepted, you will automatically win a full fellowship, meaning all expenses will be paid from travel costs to room and board and all project activities.
