At the Home for the Aged in Goa you have your choice of over a dozen women who would be more than happy to take on the role, on a temporary basis that is! You will spend your days entertaining these strong and vibrant women and have an amazing opportunity to get a personal insight into Indian culture from the female perspective, unspoiled by the presence of men. Mae De Deus Home for the Aged has been providing a safe and comfortable living environment to elderly women for over 25 years. The home was started by missionaries in order to care for elderly women who did not have family or friends that were in a position to take care of them. The Home for the Aged needs volunteers to help keep the mood high and the women smiling with special emphasis on keeping those pesky feelings of boredom and loneliness at bay.

Who is it for?
This project is for great for any woman interested in sharing some quality time with a great group of interesting women. What you'll be doing:
Your main task will be to keep the women entertained and happy. You may be singing, dancing, playing games, walking around the neighborhood, reading aloud, writing letter, etc. Any games or activities that you would like to introduce are welcome. You will be working from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Cost in US$: USD 1,095.00 for 2 weeks, USD 220.00 for every week thereafter
