Make a Difference to the Lives of Children and Adults living in Romanian Institutions

Dates: Trips run in April, June, July, August and September (10 days each but longer trips can be arranged)
Description:
Volunteers will spend their mornings working with abandoned children with disabilities and their afternoons in two large institutions for adults with disabilities. Both the adults and children have a wide range of disabilities and developmental delays.
Qualifications:
We do not ask our volunteers to have any qualifications before volunteering with us but we do advise volunteers to gain some experience with children or adults with special needs before volunteering in Oltania to ensure that they are well prepared. Any volunteers with qualifications in the health or educational field are welcome to apply as a specialist volunteer.
Cost in US$: Cost of flight plus GBP 200 - GBP 300 to cover living costs
