Durations of Program: 2-4 weeks, 5-8 weeks, 9-12 weeks, 3-6 months and 7-12 months
Typical Duration of Program: 2-4 weeks
Dates: open

Description: The goal of the project is to provide community development to a low resourced primary school of San Sebastian. Volunteers act as role models while teaching and leading activities to the children. The school offers integral education such as classes and activities in: English, art, sports, theatre, and music. The primary school has class sizes of around 20 students. The school does not have funding to provide important education to the students, that's why they need the help of willing volunteers to provide assistant teachers and teachers for the children. You will be assisting and teaching the students English, sports, theatre, pottery, and arts through planning creative lessons and activities for the students. This will help you to cultivate relationships with the students and other staff members in your project.

Volunteer Peru: Teaching English in Cusco

Highlights: You will be assisting and teaching the students English, sports, theatre, pottery, and arts through planning creative lessons and activities for the students.
