Description: Our volunteer work projects offered in Mexico are based on social commitment and dedication. The different programs will give you the excellent opportunity to learn more about the country and its culture as well as to practice your Spanish language skills at the same time. Furthermore, you will also show solidarity with people who rely on the help of others and appreciate your support, which is a small but very important contribution to the international understanding. We mainly cooperate with institutions in Mexico City that take care of the well-being of people in need, for example orphanages, shelters for handicapped children and adults, playschools, schools, hospitals and nursing homes. We also offer environmental projects and projects dealing with reconstruction after natural disasters as well as educational projects for the poor population. The working hours during your volunteer program depend on the institution. All volunteer work projects are full-time positions. The decision, whether to offer a remuneration or not, is completely up to the institution as well. Due to economic and social reasons in Mexico, it is normally not possible to remunerate your work. The institutions mainly depend on donations themselves to be able to exist and to operate.

In combination with the volunteer work projects in Mexico we offer preparing language courses in Mexico City. At least a four-week Spanish course is required for the participation in our volunteer program. But for participants with very good Spanish language skills do not necessarily have to take language classes in advance. Please contact us for further information and inquiries.

Highlights: - The registration fee is a one-time fee due at sending your application documents and includes the translation/correction of your resume   and the registration for our programs.

Qualifications: - Good Spanish language skills, spoken and written
