Description: The volunteer projects we offer in Ecuador are based on social commitment and dedication at different kinds of institutions. You will not only get to know the country and its culture, but can also improve your Spanish language skills. You will also show solidarity with people that completely rely on the help of others and your support will be highly appreciated. You will make a small but very important contribution to the international understanding. We cooperate with different organizations in the capital Quito that operate in the following areas: work with children, human rights, womens rights, rights of colored people, ecological and environmental projects, projects with native animals, development assistance, etc. The working hours during your volunteer program depend on the institution. There are part-time projects offered during the time of your language course as well as full-time projects after completing the language course. The decision, whether to pay a remuneration or not, is completely up to the institution. Due to economic and social reasons in Ecuador, it is usually not possible to remunerate your work. The institutions mainly depend on donations themselves to be able to exist and to operate.

In combination with the volunteer work in Ecuador we offer preparing language courses. A two-week Spanish course is required for the participation in our programs. But for participants with very good Spanish language skills do not necessarily have to take language classes in advance. Please let us know if you have any inquiries concerning this matter.

application documents and includes the translation and/or correction   of your resume as well as the registration for our programs.

- The additional week language course includes:
    - 1-week Spanish course (20 individual classes each 60 minutes

- The additional week full-time volunteer program includes:
    - 1-week volunteer program (full-time)

Qualifications: - Good Spanish language skills, spoken and written
- Minimum volunteer duration of four weeks (part-time projects) or six
weeks (full-time projects)
