Reforestation projects are very much needed in Thailand because : 1) These hilltribe village are located in a degraded forest. Villagers need to re-plant trees but still need seedlings. Though government provides some but still not enough. On the other hand, villagers need to go to carry seedlings themselves which far away from provided nursery. Some donation will be kept for seedlings transportation. 2) Villagers aim to turn degraded forest to a forest with food. Some kind of trees they intend to plant will become their food. These kinds of tree are not provided by government and need to be bought from nursery and farms. Some donation will be used for these kind of plants/trees such as bamboo, rattan etc.
