Description: The Foundation "Bolivar Education" is a private, non-profit organization that is not associated with any political or religious activities and was created in January 2008 with the objective of channeling more efficiently our volunteers' work through several organizations.

We offer an endless number of volunteering opportunities in different fields. By doing so, we create a bridge between our volunteers and the organizations; volunteers benefit from the experience acquired through the projects and the organizations benefit from the time, love, and energy volunteers offer for free.

Volunteering for everybody:
Everyone can be part of our program, without limit of age besides if you have children and you want to be a volunteer, we have a Kinder Garden for your children to spend time playing and learning Spanish while you are working, or if are in your vacations time and you want to do voluntourism, or if you have a group of your University, School and any kind of Organization, we can arrange a complete program for you with the best coordination.

Volunteering for Seniors:

Some Seniors have found this volunteerism as the way to give back and also increase personal fulfillment and meaning. The participation of older persons in volunteerism mixed with comfortable tourism has dual benefits: it enables seniors to share wealth of skill and experience with other communities; and in doing so, it keeps them active physically, socially and psychologically while they are helping.

Social work and Donations:

Once or twice in the month we organize a group of volunteers who want to do something about the people who spend time during the weekends in a children´s hospital with no food and help from anyone, we provide some food which is prepared by the volunteers and as for Donations, we canalize the money and stuff from volunteers to the projects where help is more required.

What we offer as Organization:

We offer the volunteer all our support, from the moment the participant arrives at the airport to when he leaves our country. We pick up the volunteers from the airport, take them to their accommodation; on the next day they have an orientation, which consists in a short tour around the neighborhood; we give them all information about tips, rules, etc..; we also have and induction day, which is the day the volunteer meets the project and the staff and also learns how to get there; usually it is a week or a couple or weeks before the volunteer starts to work. In addition, we do a monitoring, which consists in checking the well-being of each volunteer every week, both at the project and the accommodation and also during the Spanish lessons.

And through the school we offer a variety of extra activities as well, like cooking, dancing, Ecuadorian culture lessons, among others. There are also weekend excursions to beautiful places in Ecuador.

Typical Volunteer: A typical Volunteer do his/her job during the morning, and during the afternoon they can study, besides when they live with a family they usually have their food and the chance of practicing their Spanish all the time, as for the activities of our organization everyday at 5:00pm we have activities as dancing lessons, cooking lessons, Spanish conferences, soccer games, and so forth, so they will have plenty of activities to do in their free time.
