Description: The volunteer will assist the teachers of the Dr. Jacques Vigne National School by giving English language classes to children up to 10th grade (CBSE Board). He will share his knowledge of the English language with the children as well as with the other teachers.
The school offers shelter and local food, and a little salary can be discussed. However, scarce resources drastically limit our expenses.

Highlights: This opportunity offers to live in the context of a small Indian town (2000 to 3000 inhabitants) in a remote area in the hills of Uttarakhand. The school is located at the foot of the Himalaya, in a magnificent environment.

Qualifications: The volunteer must be motivated to improve the English level of the children. He needs good communicating skills, an open mind and good adaptation skills to the Indian context. A basic knowledge of hindi would also be appreciated.
