Cultural Adventures summer cultural immersion programs provide the unique opportunity to experience a foreign culture while learning (1) a foreign language, (2) environmental stewardship, and (3) humanitarian contributions. Cultural Adventures is a division of C'est la Vie Travel Excursions, Inc. and was established by Minnesota native Renee Zirbes with the intent to share her love for other cultures and nature. Renee has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Mexico, Central America, Europe, and the Caribbean Islands. She has lived in the Dominican Republic for three Renee received her Bachelor's of Arts Degree from St. Cloud State University and her Law Degree from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College. She has worked in a variety of areas of law and has established and operated several successful businesses and has always provided professional and dependable services.
Highlights:
For the summer of 2009, Cultural Adventures is offering several one week camp programs at a beachfront eco-lodge on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic at a cost of only $500 per student! Rates include transportation from the Puerto Plata Airport to the camp site, 6 nights lodging, three meals per day, and daily program costs including foreign language instruction, nature hikes, and visits to local and mountain villages.
Qualifications:
These cultural immersion programs are offered to middle school, high school, college, church and humanitarian groups. The cost is $500 per week plus the cost of airfare.
