Description:
The ultimate African safari! Experience thrilling wildlife encounters combined with life changing conservation and local community projects. Based in a game reserve, south of the Kruger National Park, help run a safari eco-lodge, assist rangers with animal management and make a real difference to the lives of local people. Your time will be split between helping run this fantastic safari lodge and assisting in the local conservation and community projects. This diversity will ensure you leave Africa both fulfilled and exhilarated, having made an enormous contribution to some of Africa's most valued wildlife and their fast-disappearing tribes.

Qualifications:
You do not need any special skills or experience for our placements. However it is essential that you are: * A motivated, enthusiastic and determined self-starter with initiative. * That you genuinely want to make a difference and give something back to communities from far poorer backgrounds.
Cost in US$: 1,875 Euros for 6 wks/2,930 Euros for 10 wks
Cost Include Description:
* Donation to sustainability of the reserve of £80, and you choose how you want this spent. * Selection and briefing on all aspects of the scheme. * 24 hour emergency back-up, management and support by UK team and in-country Placement Manager, with reliable communications and infrastructure. * Safety and induction course on arrival. * Elephant interaction and ride. Game drives on reserve. * 1 escorted micro-light flight above the reserve (Insurance permitting - Both Kwa Madwala and Global Travel Insurance have appropriate insurance to cover this activity). * Airport pick up and transfer to and from the placement. * Food and accommodation throughout.
