Duration of Program: 1-2 weeks
Dates: All year

Description: This program involves various aspects of community support work including rural pre-school teaching, orphan care, rural home building & sports coaching projects in & around the coastal town of Vilanculos.

Rural Pre-School & Orphan Care

Highlights: Volunteers visit the pre-school every morning supporting the local teachers & educating the children in creative ways. The volunteers' also work to build a home every 2-3 weeks. This is equally important as cyclone Favio hit the Mozambican coast in February 2007 & devastated much of the local area.

Optional Project Excursions:
- Dhow Safari to Islands (includes snorkeling equipment, National Park fee & lunch)
- Deep sea fishing
- Snorkeling
- Horseback rides on the beach

Qualifications: This program is available for group bookings of 10+.
