Volunteer Work in Rural Child Development

Description: Volunteers are placed in rural areas where there is less development: Inadequate basic amenities.

Volunteers help provide simple basic education to rural children, in some cases they have no schools and volunteers therefore have to work under shades and other makeshift houses. Also, volunteers can support the community in building makeshift houses to be used as schools. Support with books and learning materials is also part of volunteers projects.

Highlights: Volunteers are picked from airport and escorted to project sites.
