Coaching and/or playing with Knin Rugby Club is the perfect way to see one of the world's most attractive countries, Croatia. Your stay in the heart of Croatia offers unlimited travel opportunities with the city at the centre of road and rail in between the coast and the inland. The program is continuing to build year on year and from August 2009 needs male and/or female volunteers who wish to play and/or coach rugby in a terrific location. Knin Rugby Club have gained nationwide and international recognition as one of the most progressive community based sports clubs in Croatia and for the coming 18months are looking to expand our influence and work in the community. To do this we need an increased number of volunteers to complete our 2 year project plan.

Croatia is the favoured destination for millions each year and Knin is perfectly located to explore the country. 45minutes from beaches, 2 1/2hours from Zagreb, 3 1/2 from Dubrovnik and only 15mins from Bosnia, your time with Knin Rugby offers the perfect volunteer experience. The weather goes from warm to mild, mostly dry and temperatures up in the 20's into October. 1. The satisfaction of assisting Knin Rugby with bridging the gaps between the ethnic groups in the region. 2. Becoming a qualifieed rugby coach or increasing your certification. 3. Free language lessons. 4. Creating a base for future visits. 5. Adding a different and interesting part to your c.v. 6. Being part of the hardest working group in Croatia. 7. Increasing your employment network.

Cost Include Description:
* Croatian language classes * bed and board * travel to and from events * free cinema (twice weekly English language movies) * in country excursions (incl Zagreb, Split, Zadar, Rijeka, Sibenik, Trogir) * equipment * sports coaching certification courses * medical insurance * professional staff support * brochures and full information pre-departure * free use of club car (with full driving license) * registration as rugby coach and/or player, visitor registration. Cost is discounted with longer stay (15% for 3month stay = 2550USD). Paid work is also available.
