Description: Mobile Creches was founded in 1969 in Delhi on the belief that every child has the fundamental right to security, education, health care and protection. Running day care centres on construction sites for the past 37 years, Mobile Crèches has run over 500 centres in Mumbai, Delhi and Pune and reached out to over 6,50,000 children. Today in Mumbai, Mobile Crèches runs 23 centres 18 on construction sites, 2 in slums and 3 special projects. Centres are open six days a week from 8:45am 4:30pm every day. It is the only NGO in the city that specifically targets children on construction sites. Every year we reach over 4000 children but still only a small fraction of those in need, because there are hundreds of construction sites in Mumbai.The organization has recently launched a sales programme and is looking for a skilled volunteer to make the programme even more successful. Through the sale of self-generated goods, Mumbai Mobile Crèches is working to become more financially independent which will inevitably facilitate their long term sustainability. Through supporting the General Manager the volunteer will help to maximize the programme's profitability.Working closely with MMCs General Manager the volunteer will help generate and foster contacts in the corporate community, ensure strong logistical support, and proper delivery of products to corporate clients. Minimum of three months commitment required. No stipend provided.

- Good organizational skills

- Experience and a sound understanding of computers in general
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments
- Sales/Marketing experience
- Administrative skills
- Creative thinker
- Hindi speaker (preferred)
