Description: This Volunteering Services is a non-government, "not for profit" Registered Community Based Organization(CBO) which aims to find volunteer placements and provide support for individual volunteers in our country Kenya. Of which we are soon going to extend our services to Tanzania and Uganda(East African Countries). The scheme makes it possible for you to participate in volunteer activities assisting community based organizations or individuals who are involved in Environmental, Conservation, Research, Restoration & Social Service projects in Kenya as you can fit into your time available and within your travel budget and along the routes of your trip. We recognise that volunteering should be a two way benefit where the volunteer placement should interest you and be suitable for your needs to gain experience, while you are able to assist your 'host', at a minimum cost to all concerned. We operate two schemes. (a) The group Placement Program with any number of placements in a period of 12 months from the starting date of the first placement, and (b) the Single Placement Program for just one placement.

This project is part of Ecoteer - the solution to travel and volunteering on a shoestring.

Ecoteer is a unique volunteer opportunities agency - offering a directory of cheap volunteer work opportunities, volunteer jobs abroad and working holidays. Our volunteer opportunities are cheap because we have eliminated the middleman slashing the price to volunteer abroad for gapyears, careerbreaks and working holidays. Ecoteer is leading the way in a new type of volunteer work opportunities abroad and is changing the volunteer and working holiday industry back to what it used to be   benefiting both the volunteer and the volunteer project.

We have other opportunities in ecotourism, conservation, humanitarian aid and teaching in other 50 countries.

To volunteer with Ecoteer you need to become an Ecoteer volunteer member which costs only £20 per year.
