Volunteer/ Intern in India

  India

Term: Throughout the year
Durations of Program: 5-8 weeks, 9-12 weeks and 3-6 months
Typical Duration of Program: 9-12 weeks
Dates: on going

Description: Volunteers will spend between 1 & 6 months working on a partner project. Typical duties include caring for children, playing and exercise, teaching basic English/ Math and sharing in the daily lives of the children in general. Volunteers will receive 2 days off a week.

Highlights: Becoming a volunteer with 'India Volunteer Care' is a unique way of not just helping those in need, but of sharing in one of the richest and most striking cultures known to man. The local area around Pondicherry provides great opportunities for not only exploring temples and visiting tribal areas, but also boating on the backwaters, or even laying back on the beach. After your volunteer programme finishes, we can also advise on further travelling throughout the whole sub continent.
