Description: ASLI Spanish Language Institute is a professional language school devoted to quality and personal attention. We specialize in the Spanish language and the culture of Latin America. Due to its outstanding reputation, the Institute attracts students from all over the world. It has deliberately limited its size to ensure a superior program. The best way to acquire a language is through total immersion, and the Institute offers a unique and valuable experience by using this method.

ASLI Spanish Language Institute offers a unique opportunity to combine the Intensive Spanish Program with a hands-on internship. Students will gain not only valuable work experience, but will also explore a particular field from a cross-cultural perspective.

ASLI Spanish Language Institute works with many businesses which has provided the unique opportunity for our students to gain internship experience during their time in Cuernavaca. In addition to sending the Intensive Spanish Registration Form, students interested in taking part in an internship should get in touch with us 2 weeks prior to the starting date of their program.

Students who wish to receive credit for their participation in an internship should speak with their academic advisor or the Study-Abroad official at their home institution prior to registering in order to insure that the credits may be transferred.

* Volunteer Position:

For students looking to provide service to the community while practicing their Spanish, we offer a volunteer program where students will interact with the local community in which they are studying. They will provide a valuable service to those in need, all the while practicing what they have learned during their Spanish classes.

This is available for students at all levels of Spanish and is a terrific and fulfilling way of gaining an increased level of Spanish fluency and a true cultural immersion experience.

Highlights: ASLI-Spanish Language Institute's mission is the teaching of the Spanish language and Mexican culture exclusively to foreign students. ASLI developed the concept of intensive, small group learning for Spanish language instruction. Since its inception, ASLI has worked using the "Group 5 System", where no more than 5 students grouped according to level of prior Spanish fluency are assigned to each professor.

At ASLI, it is of the utmost importance to group students according to their ability to master the language. Our biggest Highlight is our personal attention.
