What better way is there to know a place, the people, and the culture then volunteering! After completing a minimum of two weeks of your Language course, you have the option of volunteering in one of various Peruvian organizations that are supported by Acupari. As a volunteer, your work is a valuable contribution to our community. Volunteering will give you the unique chance to live and work with native people and learn their culture first hand. So no matter how brief your volunteer experience, you can make a difference. The gift you receive will be life long memories and a deep insight into the social and cultural reality. There are volunteer positions available, beginning with a minimum of 2 weeks up to 2 months or more.
Highlights:
There are a variety of options for your volunteer position. You can spend time with children in a children's hospital, orphanage, day care center, or street project. There are positions in several hospitals, and even in an institution for the blind.
Qualifications:
The most important qualification that any volunteer can bring to their volunteer position is the willingness to help others and the desire to make a difference.

Cost Include Description:
Volunteer applicants are responsible for their own housing. As a service to you, accommodation for the volunteering period can be organized by ACUPARI at reasonable rates. Please indicate on the registration form if housing will be needed during your time volunteering.

ACUPARI Language School's Mission Statement: ACUPARI Language School is dedicated to the promotion of cultural interchange, via its language courses and social projects, between Peruvians and citizens from all over the world. ACUPARI is also completely committed to social projects and community efforts, throughout Cusco and its outlying areas. Any ACUPARI language student that has completed a minimum two weeks Spanish course can participate in one of a range of volunteer opportunities benefiting one of several Peruvian institutions.
