Description: Go Volunteer India provides short-term and mid-term opportunities for individuals who are interested in volunteering in India from 1 week to 3 months. Challenge and define yourself in a broader context as you work for social change. Choose your cause and choose your activity. Then, based on your skills and interests we will arrange an opportunity for you in which you will be most effective. We will provide the groundwork for an optimal volunteering experience with either a local NGO or community group.

If you are an individual interested in group volunteering, we can arrange for you to be placed within a group. This opportunity gives you the chance to interact with other international volunteers while working together to make a difference.

* Gap Year/Long-Term Volunteering

We also provide opportunities for individuals who are looking to volunteer in India for an extended period of time. Catering to your needs and preferences, this program allows you to choose the length of time you want to volunteer, from 3 to 12 months. As a Gap Year (which includes all age groups) volunteer, you will be able to fully immerse yourself in India's rich culture while making a marked and substantive difference. The Gap Year experience is sure to be an unforgettable and clearly defined transition from one stage of your life to the next all the while affirming both your life and the lives of those around you.

* Interns

Go Volunteer India provides 2 to 6 month unpaid internship placements and research opportunities for individuals who are interested in working with one of Indias many non-profit organizations while at the same time gaining valuable career experience and skills for an increasingly global workplace. You will be able to take part in a rewarding workplace experience as you work with an NGO that serves India's immense development need.
