Description:
Volunteers will work with Dr. Mar Naw in helping to provide free medical care to hill tribe villagers and to complete numerous projects like building toilets and water sanitation systems. Volunteers can also focus on teaching English and playing with the children. No matter what skills you have, your generous help is desperately needed and no matter what your skills are, they can be applied to better the lives of the many hill tribe villagers. Volunteers will usually spend a few days at a village at a time and then move onto one of the other villages (there are several dozen different villages). In between stops are made into town to pick up supplies and food. Volunteers sleep with a different family in each village and will have the opportunity to cook and eat with their host family. Volunteers always travel with Dr. Mar Naw and will at times have access to internet.
