Volunteer Program:
WhyKenya Adventures offers you the opportunity to make a positive difference to the lives of Kenyans and their communities. Volunteering is a great way to contribute to the global community and gain experience, and also fosters personal growth. Whether you would like a short or long volunteer experience, WhyKenya provides challenging and affordable placements throughout Kenya. You will work with the locals, sharing your knowledge and experience with them. Accommodation is with a host family. Volunteer placements include Orphanage, Teaching, HIV/AIDS awareness program, Medical or Healthcare, Maasailand. Every placement is carefully selected according to your interests and requirements.

Qualifications: Program Requirements for volunteer position only:
- be 18 years or older
- have no major health problems
- a medical background is required for the medical/health program
- some related experience is required for the HIV/AIDS program
- teaching, Maasailand require a 1 month commitment
- be eligible to obtain a tourist visa to Kenya
- obtain a police check from your home country prior to volunteering.
- be open-minded, flexible, adaptable and be passionate about helping others.

Typical Volunteer: A typical volunteer ranges in age from 18 to around 50. They are someone who is willing and passionate to help others, experience Kenyan life, and immerse themselves in a new culture. Volunteers come from all countries of the world with different world views and experiences, which enrich and empower local communities.
