The Awing community health Program is aimed at supporting the health system in the village with services of qualified health experts and nurses. Volunteers spend 1-12 months working in the community clinic administering health services to the locals. The volunteers is often placed under the supervision of a senior health staff or given key positions in the clinic. We give preference to volunteers who are able to pay for their flight, lodging and feeding during their stay in the community. Additional consideration is given to those who are able to fundraise to conduct basic medical examinations, purchase basic medical equipment and much more. In fact we preferred volunteers who are self driven and can take initiatives. We accept volunteers of both sexes and all ages. Preference is given to English speaking volunteers. The organization in some cases can support the volunteer with accommodation. Pick up from the air port is guaranteed. Interested volunteers can google LUKMEF to get more information about the organization. Volunteers must not accept any e-mails coming from public sources such as gmail, yahoo, hotmail etc. LUKMEF uses only our official and private e-mails to communicate with volunteers. This is to avoid scamming.
