Camping/Volunteer Work and Gap Year Programs

  Kenya
  • Nairobi:
  • Nairobi

Dates: All year round

Description: Epeco Camping Kenya was formed to offer a unique way of relaxing away from the norms. It's all about everything a camper/volunteer needs to know about camping and the enjoyment one gets while camping. We give extensive camping information on camping, tents, equipment, cooking and activities to help the experienced or novice campers.

Our concern was that there is no single company or organization in Kenya that gives the services and practical advice on this subject as we do.

The camping is guided by professionals and experts who have particularly good background on this area.

Our Background

Epeco Camping-Kenya was founded by Edith Munubbe. The Company is under EPECO Enterprises Group of Companies.

Edith, through her volunteer organization, Destens Volunteer's Organization, that hosts overseas volunteers in Kenya learn from these volunteers the happiness one gets while camping. Kenyan people love nature and camping is one of their way of relaxing. There is no drive to generate profit and the focus is simply on creating the highest quality of relaxation that is widely experienced in camping. You make new friends, relax, enjoy and do what you cannot do in your office or at home.

We also do one-day work camps for locals whereby organizations, companies go out of their way to help those in need. It can be in urban or up-country. And after the work camp you have fun with the locals. It's all fun. Try it this way.

For overseas clients we offer work camps for minimum of 2 weeks and maximum of 1 year whereby we host volunteers or campers in our country. We encourage gap year, career breakers and high school students to join us.
