Preschool Help during Spring Break in Trujillo
Peru
Duration of Program: 1-2 weeks
Typical Duration of Program: 1-2 weeks
Dates: 1 Week During March and April 2010
Description:
Peru 109 offers week long community projects in the Spring, perfect for volunteers who have limited travel time available but are interested in being a part of a worthwhile community project. All ASB programs run from Saturday to Saturday during March and April to accommodate typical work/class schedules. You'll spend your week with the children and staff of Colegio Senor de los Milagros, an elementary/middle school program for low-income families in Trujillo. It is our hope that through these two months of ASBs, we will be able to generate continuous projects that focus on literacy support, afterschool sports program (creation/organization), site maintenance and painting, or a large-scale mural design. In addition, each Project Team will design a signature project that will be unique to their ASB week.
