Description:
This teaching position is for an established after school education programme for orphans and disadvantaged children in rural NW province of Cameroon. The after-school is for 2 hours, 3 days per week and is free to the community. There are lessons in basic literacy and numeracy along with games, art and play. This position also has the option of teaching in a local village school during the rest of the week if so desired.
Highlights:
You will be working alongside other volunteers and supported by friendly local and international staff. The after-school is situated in Belo, a very beautiful part of rural Cameroon. Minimum duration 1 month. No fees.
Qualifications:
Teaching qualifications preferred but not essential. Teaching experience preferred but not essential.
