Ujamaa Hostel provides a wide range of volunteer experiences to choose from. You can volunteer in Nursery Schools, Orphanages, Early Childhood Education Centres, Community Development Programs, a School for Disabled Children, an HIV/AIDS Support Centre and many more. Let us know they type of volunteering you would like to do and we will find the best placement for your needs.

Qualifications:
Ujamaa Hostel provides non-vocational volunteer experiences, so you don't need any specific qualifications to volunteer with us. However, if you have qualifications or specific skills set that you feel may be helpful please inform us and we will place you at the most appropriate project.

Cost Include Description:
The cost includes accommodation in a comfortable Western-style house with 24hr security, lockable draws for valuables and helpful staff. It also includes Breakfast, Dinner & Laundry, access to TV/DVD, movies, books and large outdoor areas for relaxing.

We know what an incredible experience it is to volunteer, but we believe that if you are willing to give your time, skills and expertise to an organisation you shouldn't have to pay for it.
We work with a range of different organisations including Nursery Schools, Orphanages, Early Childhood Education Centres, Community Development Centres and a School for Disabled Children. We carefully choose all of our projects so that we can be sure that the volunteers' time is being well spent and that their contribution is worthwhile.
