Durations of Program: 5-8 weeks, 9-12 weeks, 3-6 months, 7-12 months, 1-2 years and over 2 years
Typical Duration of Program: 3-6 months

Description: The volunteer / trainee will be expected to :
- participate, with the project coordinator, to the current activities (selection of students to be sponsored, link between students and their sponsors, links with the schools)
- set up new activities like health care for the students and HIV awareness
- write projects and raise funds for the organisation
- create a fix office for the organisation in Belo
- expand the existing website in French and/or develop an English website for the organisation
- set up new activities depending on the volunteer/trainee motivations and skills (after school program, exchange projects with schools of his/her country...etc)

Qualifications:
* High motivation to integrate in the community and exchange different cultural views.
* Good contact with children and youth.
* Ability to write project proposals and raise funds.

Minimum Education: High School

Experience Required: no

Typical Volunteer: A volunteer open to different cultural views and highly motivated to help a small NGO to impact underprivileged children and youth in a less developed world.

Age Range: minimum 18 years

This Program is open to American, Australian, Canadian, European, Kiwi, South African and Worldwide Participants. This Program is also open to Families, Couples and Individuals

Education Kom's Mission Statement: Education kom sponsors children and youth in schools or professional trainings in Cameroon. We are also developing health care / HIV awareness for these children and their families, and are implementing cross cultural exchanges between schools in Cameroon and the world over.
