Small Holding Development - Mallorca

Description: We are two families in the centre of Mallorca looking for help to develop our small holdings. 'Can Jaume' has 11,000 sqm of land and 'Can Alex' 2,000 sqm.

Minimum stay is two weeks. Duties include: weeding, clearing, planting, irrigation and taking care of animals. (Dogs, cats, chickens and 1 pig!).

Working hours are 25 hours a week. This would be shared between the two fincas on a weekly basis.

Accomodation is provided in Can Alex's casita. This had an electric supply, bedroom and shower, kitchenette and terrace. It is suitable for a couple or two indivdiuals travelling together.

Volunteers will be provided with food to cook for themselves in the casita or BBQ area.

Highlights: Hours are flexible. The area is close to mountain walks, horse riding, Palma's historic city centre or any of its famous beaches.

Inca city centre is a 20 minute walk where public transport can take you in any direction.

Qualifications: The only qualification needed is the willingness to work!

Experience Required: no

Typical Volunteer: A Typical Volunteer must be outgoing, willing to work on their own, following instructions but showing common sense. Must have an interest in the outdoors, animals and family life. Will probably want to spend their free time exploring Mallorca.
