Volunteer Teach and TEFL Certification Program in Mexico

Description: Our Volunteer Teach and TEFL Certificate program involves 2 phases. The first 4 weeks are spent earning a TEFL certificate at Dunham Institute. The second 4 weeks are spent volunteer teaching elementary school aged children in a local public school. The commitment is short and can be extended. The 8 weeks that are spent in Chiapa de Corzo taking the TEFL course and teaching all include housing with a local family. At an additional cost, Spanish classes can be available, as well.

Highlights: You will receive an internationally recognized TELF certificate and will gain valuable teaching experience immediately upon completion. But the most important aspect of the the program is giving back to the community a necessary skill, being able to speak English. This is a gratifying, once in a lifetime experience that is rewarding for the volunteer and for the students that will be learning.

Qualifications: You must be 18 years of age or older and must hold a 4 week internationally recognized TEFL certificate.
