Description: IDF-Nepal has established over 15 host families and partnerships in Nepal where volunteers are placed. IDF-Nepal tries to use volunteer's capacity, skill, education and experiences to create an optimal placement, where volunteers can exchange their knowledge, and also learn about Nepali life and challenges. Your input and contribution will directly enable the people in these areas to understand several things better and may help them attain fulfillment in health, education, cultural learning, and several other things. It could both be a life changing experience for you and the people with whom you'll be working in the communities. Volunteers can participate in any of the following programs during their stay: In some cases, it is possible to blend certain programs together.

Highlights: IDF Nepal is a not-for-profit non-governmental social organization. Ideal Friendship Nepal, also popularly known as IDF Nepal, is an initiation taken for goal of empowering the societies from partnered developmental initiatives, exchange programs, volunteer programs, and cultural sharing. IDF through its extensive understanding and approach focusing on its objectives tries to incorporate use of all experiences, people, knowledge and resources it gains over the course for attainment of opening the possibility doors that in turn result in development in communities. A little by little, we understand, all of the steps taken by us shall ensure the desired goal.

    * Transportation to and from Kathmandu Airport.
    * Local transport to and from the placement to Kathmandu.
    * Accommodation and main meals during training period and placement. Language and cultural information classes
    * IDF-Nepal staff visits to placement.
    * Scholarship for the poor Rajbanshi/ Satar/ Dhimal Children
    * Contribution to IDF-projects for resource centers, libraries, health centers and environmental protection groups.
    * Community Health Camp.
    * Food and Accommodation in Kathmandu only, for 2 days (not Pokhara) for Visa renewal, if your program is longer than two months.
