Description:
Conserve and protect South Africa's sea birds and pinguins, especially threatened species, for the benefit of present and future generations.
Highlights:
Rehabilitate ill, injured, oiled and orphaned sea birds and pinguins on a daily basis, prepare for and manage the rehabilitation of sea birds and pinguins during major disasters like oil spills, raise awareness about conservation through environmental education, and collaborate on research projects. **After 6 weeks of volunteering, one week of the trip is devoted to our Cape Town Discovery Tour so you can see all the wonderful sights and the beauty that South Africa has to offer!
Qualifications:
* At least 18 years old * Eligible to receive a tourist visa to South Africa * Flexible and have a desire to contribute
