Cost in US$: Volunteer/Intern for only US $650 (in-country fee) per month and US $2600 for six months.

Cost Include Description:
The in-country fee covers administrative charge, airport pickup, and transport to project (if necessary), meals and accommodation during placement, and supervision. You will not miss place to volunteer on conservation, HIV AIDS, Children programs or teaching if not medical programs, internships, orphanages and rescue homes, name them and you will get it in the land of Kenya.

Typical Volunteer:

  • Minimum 5 hours per day, 5 days per week during the hours of 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Your project will have its own expectations in regards to your volunteer responsibilities and duties, but you are also expected to bring your own knowledge and skills with you and posses a positive outlook and a proactive style towards your work in order for your volunteer time to be successful.
  • Sole and assistant teaching and homework help; extracurricular activities (can be initiated); and building maintenance (can be initiated). All tasks provide part-time work, so volunteers must choose at least 2 activities to fill their day.
  • You are encouraged to use initiative and take a hands-on approach to your work by setting up new project initiatives and creating activities. Please note all new initiatives will need to be discussed with your supervisor
