Description: Assist in teaching children in a Costa Rican community! This is not your typical vacation. Learn what it's like to be part of the Costa Rican community while enjoying the natural beauty of the country. Volunteers can untertake a variety of projects with a local elementary school such as teaching English, planting a garden, painting the school exterior, art activites, and many more.

Education/Community Projects in Costa Rica

Highlights: While on the program you will live with a Costa Rican host family. Sharing your daily life with them will provide you with experience and insight into the culture you could never have had as a tourist. Soon you will become immersed in "Tico" life and live "pura vida."

AIDE will secure and provide:
- Volunteer projects (all visited and quality guaranteed by AIDE)
- Housing (all visited and quality guaranteed by AIDE)

- Activities and tours
- Emergency Medical Insurance

Qualifications:
* At least 18 years old
* Beginner/Intermediate level of Spanish
* Eligible to receive a tourist visa to Costa Rica
