Description: Barani Secondary School is a government mixed day school for both boys and girls with a population of 800 students. It is located in Malindi district coast province 2km from the town. Barani secondary is built in a 7 acre piece of land under which its divided into portion to accommodate all the facilities that the 800 students can be able to use comfortably.

Among the facilities that school has includes:
- fully equiped studying library.
- 2 streams class for each grade.
- basketball pitch.
- football pitch for soccer.
- science laboratory for practicals.
- an environmental man made conservation garden.
- staff room for the teachers
- kitchen and dining area, mosque for muslim students

Highlights: Teachers who can come up for internship can be very helpful because they will be able to experience something really different because the curriculum is different and also teaching methods and will be involved in the learning process.

Proffessional teachers can be able to contribute more in the exchange of teaching methods, lots of sharing ideas on the different subjects that are taught.

Qualifications: The program is open to trained teachers, or teachers who would like to get an internship, one applying should be able to speak in English fluently because its one of the national language and it is used in the learning process.
