Paradise Gardens Animal Rescue Center's Mission Statement: Paul and Jenny Saban retired to Boquete from England in 2005. They brought with them some of their exotic birds, open minds and big hearts. They have many years of experience of looking after and breeding both birds and animals. Both are avid gardeners and have used their expertise to create a beautiful garden for their birds, with a butterfly house that they had always longed for..
Whist doing this they soon discovered that there were many birds and animals in Panama being kept in very poor conditions, so they set about trying to rescue some of them. Paradise Garden has thus evolved into not only a beautiful bird garden, with a butterfly house but also a sanctuary for some very lucky rescued birds and animals.
They now open the gardens to the public to help support this venture and extend their rescue efforts.
